The Pizza Garden Method: Companion Planting for a Natural Garden Workshop

Check out a pizza garden, and find out how to maximize plant health and avoid toxic chemicals through companion planting. Companion planting is the art of combining plants so they'll thrive, enriching each other's soil and repelling each other's pests. We'll discuss specific combinations of vegetables, herbs and flowers, as well as other edibles like berries and their friends. Then w'll tour Swover Creek Farms' pizza garden and other adventures in companion planting. After the workshop, actual pizza (with garden sourced ingredients) and beer will be available for purchase, to enjoy overlooking the garden. Space is limited and registration is required.
