Allegheny Mountain Institute: Allegheny Farm
Allegheny Mountain Institute is an educational non-profit organization with the mission to cultivate healthy communities through food and education.
Located on a Triple watershed divide at 4200’, AMI’s Allegheny Farm is both a working farm and home to its flagship program, an 18-month Farm and Food Education Fellowship.
In 2018 the Farm Stay program launched at its Allegheny Farm site to create a unique opportunity for families, individuals and anyone seeking to learn more about sustainable agriculture, and the joy of eating freshly picked and prepared foods.
Guests may participate in select full-day workshops with the Fellows for a small fee on Wednesdays. Workshop listings and sign-ups are available on the AMI website.
